Plastics Extrusion Software

Use the plastics-specific BOMs within DTR to monitor costs and schedule fabrication processes such as cutting, notching, drilling, punching, routing, gluing, embossing, pad printing, silk screening, hot stamping, assembly and more. You can allocate costs evenly across your operations and factor in wait states for cooling operations when scheduling jobs as well as the set up time for new jobs. Extruders also can leverage plastics-specific inventory management tools to keep track of materials at multiple warehouses and locations and/or manage lot codes and serialized inventory.

Whether you are purchasing materials or entering a sales order, you can assign multiple units of measure to individual inventory items and DTR will calculate conversion quantities—relieving inventory in the base unit of measure. You define the units of measure (e.g., pounds, linear feet, sheets, inches) and DTR plastics extrusion software does the rest. In addition, DTR provides visibility into your inventory quantities in “QC hold” while the product is being evaluated for dimensions, color, wall thickness, and more.
